Hello and welcome to another edition of the Kingpin Weekly Digest.

The Kingpin team have recovered from the chocolate and burned shoulders of the Easter weekend to put together three new insights for B2B tech marketers, which this week includes "always-on" programmatic, CIOs and their plans to invest in AIsocial lead generation and we'd love you to join us at our charity quiz night in June.

Always-On: the most effective programmatic strategy

As Marketers we need to deliver quarter after quarter, so although we can still look for quick wins we need to play the long-game. Programmatic advertising isn't as effective as it can be when only used occasionally.

Customers consume content that is "always-on" and so your advertising should be "always-on" too. Programmatic specialist Jordan Matthews writes about how an "Always On" approach boosts conversions over an extended period.

Do CIOs plan to invest in AI over the next 12 months?

When marketing to senior IT professionals, you need to understand their priorities.

As much as the industry is hyped about AI are CIOs desperate to spend their budget on it?

We asked a panel of CIOs: "Do you plan to invest in AI-powered applications over the next 12 months?"

Here's what they said, in this week's Kingpin Insight of the Week video

Prepare for the next generation of B2B tech buyers

Should you shift your lead gen activity away from events and towards social media? The evidence is coming through that millennials are now in tech buying teams and have different research and media consumption habits.

Here's some insights into what's changing and an example of what Kingpin have done for clients to drive a competitive CPL and improve ROI.

And finally....

On the 13th June we will be hosting our annual charity night to raise money for one of our chosen charities - Great Ormond Street Hospital.

We have raised over £170,000 since starting this and we are aiming for another £30,000 this year.

Table sales are now open so if you would like to come along and enjoy an evening of 80's themed entertainment with a quiz, raffle, auction and lots of fun games don't delay and drop us a line! We are also looking for donations for the auction and raffle so if anyone can help please get in touch.

This event is only a success because of the generosity and support of everyone who comes along or donates and we are very grateful for all your support over the years.
